5 Tips to Score the Best Clearance Deals
June 26, 2026 · 4 min read
Liquidation inventory doesn't restock. When a pallet's worth of an item sells out, it's usually gone for good — which changes how you should shop. Five habits that pay off:
1. Check new arrivals first
The best items on any pallet — the popular brands in top condition — sell within days of listing. Make the New Arrivals section your first stop rather than browsing by category.
2. Don't sleep on a good price
Classic retail teaches you to wait for a further markdown. Liquidation works the other way: quantity is real and finite, and the discount is already deep. If the condition and price work for you, someone else is looking at the same listing.
3. Use the discount sort
Sorting the shop by discount surfaces the biggest gaps between our price and the compare-at price — that's where the standout deals live.
4. Read condition notes, not just grades
Two 'Used – good' items can be very different. The description tells you exactly why an item got its grade — sometimes it's a scuff on the underside you'd never see.
5. Join the newsletter
New pallets get announced to subscribers first. A thirty-second signup is the single biggest edge a clearance shopper can have.
